About Me
I’m a sensation maximalist.
I snuck out to my first rave when I was sixteen.
The dance floor welcomed me like it already knew me. Its vastness offered a freedom I would spend years trying to name. Beneath strobes and a wall of sound I can still feel in my cells, the nightclub demanded a kind of aliveness I’ve never forgotten.
Over the next decade, I would see the world one nightclub at a time. These spaces became my sanctuaries—cathedrals to the senses, altars of freedom, authenticity, and radical togetherness.
on beauty, awe, and the physiological sublime.
I come from a family of pole vaulters. By the time I reached college, I had ten thousand hours of discipline already in my body.
I didn’t know what I wanted to study — only that I wanted to jump…really, really high.
By sophomore year, I was entranced by Aestheticism, a field of study that led me to the text that would change everything: Edmund Burke’s A Philosophical Enquiry Into the Sublime and Beautiful.
The sublime describes experiences of awe provoked by scale, power, and magnificence—sensory moments so profound they bypass reason and alter us at a cellular level.
I thought I had already reached the edges of what my body could feel. Burke offered me a new question:
What happens when the body meets magnificence?
what does magnificence feel like in your body?
After years of teaching at the country’s most celebrated fitness studios, I found myself yearning to create something that
didn’t yet exist.
One night, in the heart of my home club, the thesis of my life’s work arrived:
I am going to teach fitness in nightclubs.
In a single, crystalline moment, I understood that the sum of my passions — movement, electronic music, and the sublime — had prepared me for my purpose:
To steward bodies toward magnificence.
It was never an idea. It was an inevitability.

The World of Play is the umbrella for my life’s work, a multi-sensory universe where sweat is sacred, the somatic is sacrament, and the sublime shifts us on a cellular level.
Whether through our nightclub ritual, Body Language; our online studio, Playground; or our immersive experiences, Extended Play; the World of Play invites your body to awaken it’s senses and experience magnificence.
